The Premiere Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to support our dynamic team.
Job OverviewThis role focuses on key areas of HR administration, including DOT compliance, benefits support, workers' compensation, and onboarding, while also assisting with other HR tasks as needed.
We estimate the salary for this position to be between $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities- DOT Compliance: Support Department of Transportation (DOT) third-party administrator processes, ensuring regulatory requirements are met through thorough documentation and timely follow-through.
- Onboarding Support: Facilitate the onboarding process by sending notifications, coordinating communication, and ensuring the timely completion of required documentation for new hires.
- Benefits Support: Manage initial benefits enrollments, update enrollment changes, and notify payroll of deduction updates. Provide basic customer service on benefit inquiries and oversee offboarding benefit notifications.
- Workers' Compensation Coordination: Support workers' compensation procedures by maintaining SOPs, preparing information packets, managing claim communication, tracking, and compiling audit information.
- General HR Support: Assist with various HR functions, including recruiting support, documentation, scheduling interviews, and other administrative tasks to ensure smooth HR operations.
- Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain attention to detail.
- Effective Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members across organizations.
- HR Knowledge: Basic knowledge of benefits and workers' compensation processes, as well as familiarity with HR software and common office applications.
- Education and Experience: Associate's degree in Human Resources/Business or a related field, and previous experience in HR coordination or benefits administration preferred.
