Position Summary:

As a Ticket Validator, you will be pivotal in ensuring our guests have an exceptional experience. Your primary responsibilities will involve greeting guests warmly and verifying their access at the lifts. You will contribute to a fun and inviting atmosphere while upholding the integrity of our services.

Position Specifications:

  • Housing: May Be Available
  • Outlet: Lift Operations and Scanning
  • Expected Pay: $20.00 / hour
  • Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time and Part Time
    • Flexible and consistent scheduling options are available, particularly during peak times such as weekends and holidays.
  • Skill Level: Entry Level

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional guest service by offering assistance and information with a friendly demeanor.
  • Validate tickets to ensure guests possess valid access before boarding lifts.
  • Collaborate with other teams to manage lift lines safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain and secure departmental equipment, including scanning devices and radios.
  • Report any issues to management as they arise, including safety concerns.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Willingness to work 35+ hours/week for Full Time or 15+ hours/week for Part Time, including 100+ hours/season for Holiday Help.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, standing and moving for the duration of the shift on potentially slippery or uneven surfaces.
  • Commitment to safety standards and procedures; safety is our top priority.

A Ticket Validator is a versatile employee who may work across multiple departments and roles to support the overall resort experience, which may include:

  • Mountain Activities
  • Retail Rental Operations
  • Food and Beverage Support
  • Ticket Sales or Scanning
  • Lift Operations

The anticipated pay for this position is $20.00. This reflects the range we expect to offer for this role, with individual compensation determined by various factors.
