Job Summary:

Experience the thrill of teaching Snowsports to guests of all ages at Crested Butte Mountain Resort. As a Ski or Snowboard Instructor, you will deliver high-quality instruction to groups and individuals, providing exceptional guest service in a safe and fun environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach group and private lessons to guests of all ages, with a focus on children
  • Deliver world-class guest service, ensuring a positive experience for all
  • Create a safe and fun learning environment, adapting to the needs of each guest
  • Support the Snowsports School team, including scanning, running surface lifts, and facilitating lunch
  • Provide guest feedback that inspires and creates lifelong skiers and riders
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Must be comfortable and competent skiing and riding on groomed blue terrain
  • Must be willing to work with guests of all ages and have a strong level of comfort with children aged 3 and older
  • Must be able to communicate fluently in English
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must be willing to work weekends and holidays
  • Must be comfortable being in ski boots for extended periods
  • Placement as an instructor is contingent upon successfully completing training and meeting the minimum skill, guest service, and safety standards
