Position Overview:
As a Ticket Checker, you will be pivotal in ensuring our guests have an exceptional experience. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests warmly and verifying their access at the lifts. You will contribute to a friendly and inviting atmosphere while maintaining the integrity of our services.
Position Specifications:
- Housing: May Be Available
- Outlet: Lift Operations
- Expected Pay: $20.00 / hour
- Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time and Part Time
- Flexible and consistent scheduling options are available, with weekends and holidays being peak times.
- Skill Level: Entry Level
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding guest service by offering assistance and information with a friendly demeanor.
- Validate tickets to ensure guests possess valid access before using the lifts.
- Collaborate with other teams to manage lift lines safely and efficiently.
- Maintain and secure departmental equipment, including scanning devices and radios.
- Report any issues to management as they arise, including safety concerns.
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
Job Requirements:
- Fluency in English is required.
- Willingness to work 35+ hours/week for Full Time or 15+ hours/week for Part Time roles.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, standing and moving for the duration of the shift on potentially slippery or uneven surfaces.
- Commitment to safety standards and procedures, as safety is our top priority.
A Ticket Checker is a versatile employee who may work across different departments and roles to support the overall resort operations, which could include:
- Mountain Activities
- Retail Rental Operations
- Food and Beverage Support
- Ticket Sales or Scanning
- Lift Operations
The expected pay range for this position is $20.00. This reflects the reasonable compensation we anticipate for this role, with individual pay decisions based on various factors.
