Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at Sentara Health-Rockingham Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our contact center, you will be responsible for handling incoming calls to effectively address eligibility, claim, and payment issues or patient scheduling, referral issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming calls to address patient and billing inquiries
  • Provide off-phone assistance to customers and department leadership
  • Update billing information, establish payment plans, and resolve charge and payment inquiries
  • Screen callers for financial assistance and resolve payment issues

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, billing, or resolving insurance accounts receivable
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with callers
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
