Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

Bollé Brands Inc. is on the lookout for a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis Manager (FP&A). This pivotal role directly influences the financial success of the organization by delivering timely and insightful business intelligence to senior management and departmental leaders, enabling informed decision-making.

The selected candidate will oversee the comprehensive financial planning and reporting cycle for the North American division, which encompasses all aspects of revenue, brand performance, subsidiary analysis, and departmental evaluations. This position not only provides critical decision support but also identifies and implements opportunities for operational enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the annual operating plan and monthly forecasting processes within a complex financial framework.
  • Develop and maintain driver-based financial models and corporate templates to assist key business leaders in achieving corporate performance indicators and strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior management and department heads to assess and analyze business performance metrics.
  • Evaluate the financial implications of specific business opportunities and provide strategic advice to management.
  • Generate, maintain, and analyze business performance data for monthly corporate reviews, ensuring alignment with historical, budgeted, and forecasted results.
  • Guarantee the quality, accuracy, and integrity of all financial modeling activities.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses for capital expenditure initiatives.
  • Simplify and integrate complex data sets into clear and concise reports for management review.
  • Manage competing priorities and tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Utilize effective communication methods to convey complex data and topics clearly.
  • Identify and lead initiatives related to business risks and opportunities.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analyses to support various business decisions as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in finance and business management.
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis principles and quantitative methods for evaluating business performance.
  • Experience with Tier I or Tier II ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
  • Proficient in Advanced Excel, including nested functions, lookups, VBA, and pivot tables, along with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with Power BI and data visualization tools is highly advantageous.
  • Experience in a large global organization with a complex matrix structure.
  • Ability to communicate financial implications of business decisions effectively to senior leadership.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills for conducting root cause analysis on variances.
  • Proven ability to influence and partner with business leaders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a knack for summarizing information succinctly.
  • Strategic thinker capable of translating high-level strategies into actionable initiatives.
  • A self-motivated individual with a history of successfully driving projects to completion.
  • Experience in consumer goods, co-manufacturing, or related industries is a plus.
