Production Manager

At Lear Corporation, we're committed to excellence and innovation. As a Production Manager, you'll play a key role in driving our success by coordinating the activities of our production team. Your responsibilities will include enforcing health, safety, and environmental regulations, directing and coordinating the activities of employees, and planning and establishing work schedules and production sequences to meet production goals.
The Role:
As a Production Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our production processes. This will involve conferring with senior management to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments, developing budgets and issuing requisitions for supplies, materials, and human resources, and monitoring the production run to ensure it stays on schedule. You'll also be responsible for devising ways to make the production process more efficient and recommending training programs or reorganization techniques for the manufacturing process.
Your Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you'll need a minimum of five years of experience in a management or supervisory role in the automotive industry, as well as a strong understanding of business and management principles, including strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources. You'll also need to have knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications, as well as knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Additionally, you'll need to have knowledge of the various functions of an automotive plant, including maintenance, quality, production control, safety, quality, operations, and materials.
Bonus If You Have:
Possess knowledge of ISO14001, OSHA, and TS16949 requirements and compliance. Previous experience working in Automotive Polyurethane Industry. Bachelor's degree in a related field of study.
