Manufacturing Engineer Internship Opportunity

Job Summary:

This internship is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to gain hands-on experience in manufacturing engineering. As a Manufacturing Engineer Intern, you will be responsible for supporting validation efforts associated with new manufacturing equipment and engineering projects for capacity improvement in the high growth Filtration and Infusion segments.

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in the MRD visual management process and implement a kanban system.

Drive improvements in manufacturing processes through 6S projects.

Conduct analysis of manufacturing processes for our Millipore and Check Valve products to identify opportunities for scrap reduction.

Conduct analysis of manufacturing processes for our Millipore products to identify opportunities for downtime improvements.

Implement visual management on new Check Valve cell.

Assist in new product development and modifications and revisions to existing products as needed.

Requirements:

Mechanical or Industrial Engineering Undergraduate Student (3rd or 4th year)

Excellent mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills

Experience with PLC programming and/or AutoCAD is a plus

Self-motivated with a high attention to detail

Excellent time management skills and project management abilities

Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively with others
