Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a reliable Commercial Lines Account Manager, managing a varied client portfolio and delivering exceptional service consistently.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial lines clients, ensuring their specific needs are promptly recognized and addressed.
  • Perform thorough policy evaluations, carefully reviewing coverage needs and identifying ways to enhance client protection.
  • Work closely with underwriters and insurance carriers to negotiate advantageous terms, ensuring optimal coverage for our clients.
  • Efficiently manage policy endorsements, renewals, and cancellations, ensuring precision and timely execution.
  • Exhibit outstanding customer service by quickly responding to client inquiries, resolving issues, and guiding clients through the claims process.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and market conditions to provide valuable insights and recommend customized coverage solutions.
  • Utilize your proficiency in insurance software systems, including Epic, to manage client information, generate reports, and enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager, with at least 3-5 years in a relevant role.
  • Expertise in insurance software systems, particularly Epic or similar platforms, to effectively oversee client accounts and optimize processes.
  • Possess a valid Property & Casualty insurance license, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of commercial lines insurance.
  • Additional insurance designations (such as CIC, CRM, or CPCU) are highly desirable and reflect your commitment to professional development.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to foster and maintain robust client relationships.
  • A client-focused approach and a proven history of delivering superior service to commercial lines clients.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, allowing you to assess client needs and propose suitable insurance solutions.
