Position Title: Commercial Lines Account Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial lines clients, ensuring their specific needs are recognized and addressed promptly and effectively.
  • Perform thorough policy evaluations, carefully assessing coverage needs and pinpointing opportunities for enhancing client protection.
  • Work closely with underwriters and carriers to negotiate advantageous terms, securing optimal coverage for our clients.
  • Efficiently manage policy endorsements, renewals, and cancellations, ensuring precision and timely execution.
  • Exhibit outstanding customer service by promptly responding to client inquiries, resolving issues, and guiding clients through the claims process.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and market conditions to provide valuable insights and recommend customized coverage options.
  • Utilize your expertise in insurance software systems, including Epic, to manage client information, generate reports, and optimize operations.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated success as a Commercial Lines Account Manager, with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Expertise in insurance software systems, particularly Epic or similar platforms, to effectively manage client accounts and streamline workflows.
  • Possess a valid Property & Casualty insurance license, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of commercial lines insurance.
  • Additional insurance designations (such as CIC, CRM, or CPCU) are highly beneficial and reflect your commitment to professional development.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to establish and nurture strong client relationships.
  • A customer-focused approach and a proven history of delivering exceptional service to commercial lines clients.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team-oriented setting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, allowing you to assess client needs and propose suitable insurance solutions.
