We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Financial Services Manager to lead our credit and collections team at Arrow Electronics, Inc. Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of 22, including 4 managers and 18 staff members, split between Denver and Guad.
- Oversee credit, collections, and financing arrangements for Arrow's largest business unit, with customers having the largest credit lines in the company.
- Monitor and drive team performance to ensure timely and fully supported credit line renewals.
- Monitor and drive team collection performance, aiming for an average of 94-96% current.
- Determine strategies to gain customer payments in cases of billing errors and/or customer disputes, and develop workout plans for financially distressed customers.
- Collaborate with the Sales Team to establish adequate credit lines while mitigating AR risk to the Company.
- Communicate with all levels of finance leadership in customer companies to gain financial data for credit line determination.
- Assess and negotiate customer payment terms.
- Communicate and report AR metrics to finance leadership.
- Stay trained in and knowledgeable about U.S. bankruptcy laws and handle customer debt in case of bankruptcy.
- Minimum 7 consecutive years of Credit Manager experience managing a team of at least 5 members.
- Credit Management experience with commercial companies.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze and assess large quantities of financial data and report it in a condensed, concise manner to leadership.
- Experience working effectively with all levels of an organization to solve problems.
- Experience working in a distribution business is a plus.
- Oracle systems experience is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration (or a related field) is required.
- Relocation is not considered; we are seeking a local candidate.
