Job Summary

The Alternative Investments & Manager Selection Group (AIMS) is a dedicated manager selection business within the Asset Management Division (AMD). We cover solutions across private equity, real estate, credit/fixed income, ESG integrated strategies, public equity, and hedge funds. Our team manages globally diversified programs, targeted sector-specific strategies, customized portfolios, and advisory services.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct sourcing and due diligence of technology-focused private equity funds, including venture capital and growth equity funds, for consideration as part of fund of funds, separate account mandates, and advisory mandates.
  • Present investment opportunities to the Investment Committee through written and oral presentations.
  • Coordinate the execution of investments, including working closely with internal and external parties.
  • Monitor the performance and risk profile of existing investments.
  • Perform industry research to support sourcing, diligence, and investment monitoring.
  • Provide portfolio updates and present investment views to AIMS' clients.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in manager selection, corporate finance, M&A, leverage finance, private equity, or other private or public markets investing.
  • Outstanding numerical and analytical skills for assessing investment opportunities.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and writing skills for making robust recommendations to the Investment Committee.
  • Excellent time, people, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a global team.
