Position Overview

QinetiQ U.S. is seeking a Public Affairs and Strategic Communications Specialist to enhance marketing communications and public relations for a federal law enforcement entity within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive marketing communications and public relations support.
  • Assist agency leadership with public relations initiatives.
  • Establish strategic partnerships with subject matter experts and agency executives.
  • Effectively interpret and communicate complex technical information.
  • Propose and execute marketing communications strategies.
  • Identify and leverage opportunities for QinetiQ solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • 3 to 10 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, or 2 to 8 years with a master's degree.
  • Background in federal management consulting, marketing, or similar fields.
  • Proficiency in graphic design, MS SharePoint, and written communication.
  • Strong critical thinking and collaborative skills.
  • Willingness to engage with clients and stakeholders.
  • Capability to maintain a security clearance and manage sensitive information.
  • Submission of a writing sample is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with federal law enforcement stakeholders.
  • Enthusiasm for integrated marketing communications.
