Halvik is a leading company that prioritizes people and innovation. We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Communications Analyst/Logistician to join our team for a long-term role with a government client in the Arlington, VA area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and create engaging articles for various publications, including Army Sustainment Magazine, Association of the United States Army Green Book, Military Logistics Forum, and Army Times, tailored to reach global audiences.
  • Develop and analyze strategic messages for senior Army leaders, ensuring effective communication.
  • Review and edit articles prepared for different publications and mediums, providing analytical and functional feedback.
  • Plan and execute strategic communications and marketing for major events, including Town Halls, DCS, G-4 Offsite events, promotion and retirement ceremonies, and senior leader engagements.
  • Research potential topics for discussion and engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts to develop and provide material for DCS, G-4.
  • Support the development and execution of strategic communications and public affairs products for Army Logistics social media.
  • Produce a dynamic weekly media report and DCS, G-4 website for subject matter experts, providing situational awareness on news of interest to the logistics community.
  • Develop and coordinate various briefings, public affairs guidance, strategic communication plans, press releases, marketing materials, and products in support of Army sustainment and logistics.
  • Provide timely and accurate technical and analytical advice, guidance, and products as required by individual task orders.
  • Assist with administrative coordination for designated events, such as video teleconferences, town halls, and other forums.
Requirements
  • Active DOD Secret Clearance.
  • Advanced Degree with 10 years of experience at DOD senior Headquarters staff level.
