Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Public Affairs Specialist to join our team at the Department Of The Treasury. As a key member of our External Affairs team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies to promote our organization's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and develop communication tools, products, and delivery vehicles to engage with stakeholders and promote our organization's mission.
  • Provide strategic communications guidance and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Establish and maintain constructive relations with departmental contacts to review, update, or create web content.
Requirements
  • One year of experience at the GS-13 level or equivalent, with a focus on public affairs, communications, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of communication principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
