Position Overview:
The Warranty Claims Specialist plays a crucial role in managing and processing warranty claims, ensuring that our dealership receives appropriate compensation for warranty-related repairs. This position requires meticulous record-keeping, effective communication with manufacturers, and adherence to warranty policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Warranty Claims Management:
- Efficiently process all warranty claims to ensure timely submission.
- Verify claim coding and accuracy in accordance with manufacturer standards.
- Submit claims to manufacturers or warranty providers.
- Monitor warranty receivables to guarantee prompt payment.

Documentation and Record Maintenance:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date warranty records.
- Collect and file all necessary documentation as per dealership and manufacturer requirements.
- Track and report on the status of warranty claims and any related issues.

Effective Communication:
- Serve as the primary contact between the dealership, manufacturers, and customers regarding warranty claims.
- Collaborate with service technicians, advisors, and management to gather essential information for claims.
- Address manufacturer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Compliance and Staff Training:
- Stay informed about the latest manufacturer warranty policies and updates.
- Provide training to service personnel on warranty procedures and guidelines.
- Ensure adherence to all warranty policies set by the manufacturer and dealership.

Customer Support:
- Assist customers with inquiries and concerns related to warranties.
- Strive to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication.
- Address warranty-related complaints and escalate when necessary.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in automotive technology is preferred.
- Previous experience in warranty administration within the automotive sector.
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes and warranty policies.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in dealership management systems (DMS) and warranty claim software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
