About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Retail Support Associate - Expeditor to join our team at Macy's. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless operations within our Women's Shoe department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering their questions, and resolving issues promptly.
  • Order Fulfillment: Quickly and accurately pull orders from the stockroom and stage them for sales colleagues.
  • Merchandise Management: Maintain an orderly and visually appealing store by arranging and replenishing displays, and ensuring stock room is organized.
  • Inventory Management: Process new and damaged items, perform shoe inventory, and scan items back into stock.
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Maintain accurate pricing and signage throughout the department, and regularly update product prices, promotions, and information on products and fixtures in accordance with company guidelines and policies.
Requirements
  • Flexibility and Availability: Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
  • Adaptability: Self-starter able to adapt quickly to changing customer expectations and needs.
  • Physical Demands: Prolonged periods of standing/walking around the store or department, frequent use of computers and handheld electronic equipment, lifting and moving items weighing up to 50lbs, and reaching, including above eye level, crouching, kneeling, stooping, climbing ladders, and color vision.
