Position Overview:

We are seeking experienced Field Inspectors specializing in Insurance Loss Control to conduct thorough evaluations of commercial properties. This role offers immediate placement opportunities for qualified candidates.

Compensation: Our compensation structure is competitive, offering a standard flat fee per case that varies based on the client and the complexity of the inspection. The typical fee ranges from $60 to $75, with some exceptions.

Employment Type: Independent Contractor

Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will possess the necessary qualifications to operate within the USA and have a proven track record in performing commercial line inspections. Completion of a relevant training course, such as the VIITA Basic Commercial Line Inspector course or its equivalent, is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and review inspection assignments electronically to understand requirements.
  • Coordinate inspection appointments with clients via phone, email, or text.
  • Conduct detailed inspections of properties, identifying potential hazards related to utilities and building systems, and document findings with 20-35 photographs.
  • Engage with clients to gather operational information and details about the property.
  • Utilize an online application to communicate the status of inspections.
  • Complete inspection reports using the Loss Control 360 system, including check-off questions, narratives, and digital images.

Preferred Skills:

  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial insurance loss control inspections.
  • Strong understanding of commercial property and casualty insurance lines, including property, general liability, and workers' compensation.
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage time efficiently, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficiency in online reporting and document management.

Additional Skills:

Experience in commercial building inspections, fire safety, industrial safety, environmental safety, construction, customer service, and the ability to travel within a 50-mile radius are advantageous.

Professional Certifications (optional): CSP, OHST, ALCM, ARM
