We are seeking qualified Field Inspectors for Insurance Risk Assessment in your area. Immediate opportunities are available.

Compensation: We offer a competitive standard flat fee per case, which varies based on the client and the complexity of the inspection. The typical fee range is between $60 and $75, with some exceptions.
Position Type: Independent Contractor
Qualifications:
We are looking for inspector candidates who are eligible to work in the USA and possess direct experience in conducting commercial line inspections. Candidates who have completed relevant training, such as the VIITA Basic Commercial Line Inspector course or its equivalent, are encouraged to apply.
Detailed Responsibilities of the Loss Control Inspector:
- Receive assignments electronically and review them for inspection requirements.
- Schedule inspection appointments with clients via phone, email, or text.
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify potential issues or hazards related to utilities and building systems (including heating, wiring, plumbing), common areas, maintenance, safety protections, etc. Capture 20-35 exterior and interior photographs and take necessary measurements.
- Interview clients to gather operational information and details about the age of building systems.
- Update inspection status through an online application.
- Complete inspection reports using the web-based Loss Control 360 system, including Rapid Sketch, and return the finalized reports electronically. Reports consist of check-off questions, narratives, and digital images.
Preferred Skills:
- 3-5 years of experience in commercial insurance loss control inspections.
- Understanding of commercial property and casualty lines, including property, general liability, and workers' compensation.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
- Comfortable with online reporting and document submission.
Additional Recommended Skills:
Experience in commercial building inspection, fire safety, industrial safety, environmental safety, construction, customer service, online reporting, and document management. Willingness to travel within a 50-mile radius.
Helpful Professional Certifications (not required): CSP, OHST, ALCM, ARM
