Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Proposal Writer to join our team at TeamWorx Security. As a Proposal Writer, you will be responsible for translating client needs and company strategic objectives into high-quality, innovative proposals that stand out.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with capture, general counsel, business development, executives, and engineering team members to define proposal strategies and articulate solutions in a readable and compliant format.
  • Apply concepts for technical writing based on engineering drawings, technical information from engineering documentation, consultations with engineers and subject matter experts, and other available sources.
  • Collaborate with the graphic design team to develop compelling visuals, best practices, and templates.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in writing proposals or technical writing
  • US citizenship required and must be willing to submit for a DoD security clearance
  • Demonstrated experience in producing and/or editing technical documents for all aspects of software and systems engineering
  • Experience in government proposal development, including technical writing, editing, proofreading, production support, and technology industry knowledge
  • Background knowledge or expertise in information technology and software engineering/development is strongly preferred
  • Must have demonstrated knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and other similar guidance, such as DFAR
  • Strong experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
