Job Title: Lead Proposal Writer-Editor

Job Summary:

Guidehouse is seeking a highly skilled Lead Proposal Writer-Editor to support the development of high-quality proposals for public sector clients. The successful candidate will have a strong background in proposal writing and editing, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and ensure compliance with client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and edit proposal content, including outlines, approaches, and final drafts
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and develop proposal content
  • Review and edit proposals to ensure compliance with client requirements and Guidehouse branding standards
  • Provide guidance to junior writers and editors on proposal writing and editing best practices
  • Contribute to the development of proposal templates and style guides

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in proposal writing and editing, with a strong background in public sector proposals
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
