Position: IT Support Specialist

Location: Remote/Hybrid

Contract Duration: 4+ Months with potential for extension

Work Hours: 40 Hours per week

Compunnel Inc. is seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is designed for individuals who excel in delivering exceptional technical assistance and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Level 1 and Level 2 technical support through various channels including phone, chat, and email.
  • Diagnose and resolve common issues such as password resets, account unlocks, and network connectivity challenges.
  • Identify and escalate more complex problems as required.
  • Conduct follow-up calls and serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for IT-related inquiries.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior service desk personnel.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Service Desk or IT Support within a large organizational framework.
  • At least 3 years in a senior Service Desk capacity.
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows 10 and Mac OS environments.
  • Experience with mobile operating systems, specifically iOS and Android.
  • Proficient in Microsoft technologies including Windows, Active Directory, and Exchange.
  • Extensive experience with Citrix Systems and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools such as ServiceNow or Remedy.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare sector is advantageous.
