Position Overview

We are seeking a Finance Team Leader to join our dynamic team. This role involves collaborating closely with the Finance and Accounting team and reporting to the Assistant Controller.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all facets of the general ledger along with a team of 3-5 direct reports
  • Conduct month-end closing procedures and reporting for the parent organization
  • Supervise travel and expense management through virtual card systems
  • Prepare expense allocations across various entities
  • Ensure compliance with ASC 842 Leases
  • Adjust and reconcile inter-company balance sheet accounts
  • Assist in cash reporting, forecasting, and bank account management
  • Support tax-related requests and projects
  • Aid in the preparation of audit support and management requests
  • Assist with complex accounting transactions, including technical accounting changes and mergers
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement improvements


Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of progressive experience, preferably in a SaaS environment
  • Previous leadership experience is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and proficiency in accounting principles
  • Familiarity with Intacct and/or SalesForce is advantageous
  • Exceptional data analysis skills and high proficiency in Excel are required
  • Strong analytical and business acumen with the ability to see the bigger picture
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and work effectively in a team setting
  • Detail-oriented with strong customer service skills
  • Capable of managing multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; CPA designation is preferred
