At SAM, we're seeking a highly skilled Aerial Technologies Business Development Manager to drive business growth and development initiatives within our Geospatial business unit.

The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise, strategic planning, and effective communication skills to identify opportunities, build partnerships, and execute programs that drive revenue and market expansion.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Staying informed about relevant regulations, policies, and guidelines governing the use of UAS
  • Ensuring all business development activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Developing and implementing strategies to expand the Geospatial UAS business, including identifying new markets, clients, and partnerships
  • Conducting extensive research in the market to identify trends, opportunities, and potential competitors in the UAS industry
  • Analyzing market data to develop strategies for market penetration and growth
  • Leading the planning, execution, and evaluation of UAS business development programs and initiatives
  • Preparing regular reports and presentations to communicate progress, results, and key insights to senior management

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Geospatial and proven experience in business development, program management, or a related field, preferably within the UAS industry.
