Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Director, Business Systems Lead to lead our talent technology initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will oversee and develop a team responsible for the implementation, management, and optimization of our HRIS systems, with a strong emphasis on Workday.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning and Implementation
    • Lead the strategic planning, implementation, and management of HRIS systems, with a primary focus on Workday.
    • In close partnership with key stakeholders, establish priorities, develop, and implement a three-year Talent Technology roadmap aligned with our business strategy.
  • Team Leadership and Development
    • Build and retain a high-performing team through leading and developing members of the Talent Technology team, who are responsible for implementing and maintaining Talent technology tools.
    • Establish an overall vendor strategy and lead vendor assessments in partnership with stakeholders and own strategic vendor relationships.
  • HRIS Management and Data Governance
    • Oversee the configuration, customization, and maintenance of Workday module and other HRIS applications supporting Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Total Compensation, and Payroll.
    • Develop and implement best practices, policies, and procedures for HRIS management and data governance.
  • Change Management and User Adoption
    • Lead change management efforts related to HRIS implementations and upgrades, ensuring smooth transitions and user adoption.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business, or a related field or equivalent experience with 12+ years of experience in internal/external IT business systems/technology experience.
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in HRIS management, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience with Workday.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
    • Strong understanding of Workday's functionality and best practices, with the ability to leverage its capabilities to drive process improvements and enhance user experience.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
