We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Manager to lead our Patient Services Team in an Acute Care setting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing goals and overseeing the implementation of patient food services needs based on medical direction and patient population.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement patient-centered food services strategies to meet the nutritional needs of patients.
- Lead and manage a team of patient service staff, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to ensure excellent patient satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with dietary restrictions and special or modified diets, adhering to guidelines and regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to achieve stated patient satisfaction goals and improve overall patient experience.
- Participate in and lead quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives to drive excellence in patient services.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Service Technology/Management or related field, or Associate degree with relevant work experience.
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification or Registered Diet Technician (RD) or Registered Dietitian (RD) preferred.
- Minimum of one year of experience in food service management, preferably in an acute care setting.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, electronic medical records, and diet office systems.
