Patient Services Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Manager to lead our Patient Services Team in an Acute Care setting in a dynamic and growing healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement patient food services strategies to meet the nutritional needs of patients and exceed customer satisfaction goals.
- Lead and manage a team of patient service staff, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to ensure excellent patient care and service.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure compliance with dietary restrictions and special diets, and to promote optimal food preferences within guidelines.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility-wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement initiatives.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, including federal, state, and accrediting agency standards, while maintaining confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies.
- Bachelor's degree in food service technology/management or related field, or associate degree with one year of work experience in food services or a related field.
- Certified Dietary Manager certificate, Registered Diet Technician, or Registered Dietitian preferred.
- Minimum one year of experience in food service management in an acute care setting, with ServSafe certification desirable.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications, electronic medical records, and diet office systems.
