Senior Electrical Engineer Opportunity

Are you a seasoned electrical engineer looking for a new challenge? Advantage Technical has a full-time opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer in Newington, NH.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced electrical engineer to join our team. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing various instrumentation and control projects, programming and troubleshooting PLC and HMI programs, and maintaining the electrical portion of the manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Implement various instrumentation and control projects.
  • Program and troubleshoot PLC and HMI programs using Rockwell RSLogix/Studio 5000, Rockwell PLC's 500, and Safety PLC's.
  • Maintain the electrical portion of the manufacturing equipment.
  • Assist other electricians, technicians, and process engineers with troubleshooting production lines.
  • Maintain manufacturing equipment and systems and facility power distribution.
  • Recommend improvements for process improvements and cost reductions.
  • Use AutoCAD and other PLC programs.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
  • 10 years of electrical engineering or electrical maintenance experience in a factory environment.
  • Experience in power distribution, drive systems, industrial controls, lighting systems, PLC, and VFD.
  • Familiarity with NEC and OSHA electrical codes and calibration methods.
