Electrical Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in the design and implementation of subsea network elements. The successful candidate will participate in the development of electrical design and verification plans, collaborating with mechanical, firmware, and production engineers.

Responsibilities:
  • Execute qualification testing for new products
  • Conduct analog and digital circuit design and simulation
  • Conduct high-voltage design and testing at voltages up to 25 kV
  • Contribute to hands-on experimental work on prototype components, circuits, and assemblies
  • Document work in reports and presentations
  • Report on progress at team meetings and design reviews
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering
  • Strong experimental and laboratory skills
  • Measurement automation experience with National Instruments products
  • Circuit simulation experience with PSpice or LTSpice
  • Ability to solder and complete electronic circuit assembly and wiring
  • Self-starter with initiative and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with single-mode optical fiber and fiber optic components
