Job Title: Senior Manager, EHS Program

SubCom is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, EHS Program to join our team. As a key member of our Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) department, you will be responsible for supporting the corporate effort related to tracking EHS goals and KPIs, Management Systems, and supporting EHS Databases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive ISO documentation and conformance to ISO principles, identifying opportunities for efficiency and improvement.
  • Manage EHS database functions, promote utilization, and provide related training to users.
  • Support processes for intake of injury records, verify records are complete, and manage closure of action items.
  • Develop and support general EHS processes for data collection, including labor statistics and ESG-related data.
  • Develop reports and analyze data for performance trends.
  • Develop documentation and support EHS management system audits, tracking of findings and corrective actions to closure.
  • Assist in the maintenance of EHS policies, programs, and procedures.
  • Occasional travel to selected job sites to support development of skills and knowledge of the business.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering, with a strong background in EHS.
  • 12+ years of relevant experience with increasing EHS responsibility.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage concurrent projects.
  • Experience with EH&S data, training, written programs, and related regulations.
  • Understanding of ESG principles, sustainability metrics, and recording requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate priorities, document procedures, architectures, and services.
  • Interpersonal skills to build and maintain rapport, confidence, and influence with peers and teammates.
