Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PACS Administrator to join our team at Apex Systems. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and maintaining Picture Archive and Computer System (PACS) solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain PACS systems, including image data maintenance and image archive and display.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to efficiently process data information.
  • Document system requirements and act as a liaison between clinical staff, radiologists, and ordering physicians to design system structures.
  • Train clinical staff and other users on system usage, image acquisition, quality control, and data archiving.
  • Integrate PACS systems to provide efficient processes for image interpretation.
Requirements
  • Minimum three years of experience in clinical IT, including system implementation, maintenance, documentation, and training with a radiology or similar system.
  • PACS Administration experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in management information systems, healthcare management, radiological technology, or a related field, or four years of experience in a directly related field.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • VNA, HL7, DICOM, project management experience.
  • PACS or imaging-related certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of radiology/cardiology information systems and proficiency in word-processing, spreadsheet, graphics, and database applications.
