About the Role

The City of Seattle is seeking a highly skilled Senior Grants Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our Office of Sustainability & Environment, you will play a critical role in driving grants and contracts management, leading the fiscal administration of a five-year, $12 million federal grant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all aspects of grant compliance, financial management, contract administration, and data analysis and reporting.
  • Work directly with community-based organizations and City partners to support compliance with Federal and City policies and to measure outcomes.
  • Develop and implement tools and processes to improve grant administration and reporting.
  • Establish data collection systems to collect, analyze, and report on program outcomes.
  • Train partners on reporting financial and outcome data using Excel, Tableau, and ArcGIS.
Requirements
  • Five years of professional experience in budget management, financial analysis, accounting, or related work.
  • Four years of professional experience in budget management, financial analysis, accounting, or related work AND an associate degree in business or public administration, finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Three years of professional experience in budget management, financial analysis, accounting, or related work AND a bachelor's degree in business or public administration, finance, accounting, or a related field.
