As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key retailers, increasing market share, and executing strategic plans to grow business.brbrbKey Responsibilities:/bbrbr- Represent Affinity Group in an ethical and professional mannerbr- Create and execute strategic plans to grow businessbr- Source, prepare, and analyze sales databr- Establish and maintain effective partnerships at customer headquarters levelbr- Collaborate with Affinity leadership and business management in the development of account-specific sales, marketing, and merchandising plansbr- Prepare, present, and negotiate client new items within client-approved funding parametersbr- Prepare, present, and negotiate customer-partner promotional programs with client involvement within the client's trade-funding parametersbr- Collect and maintain timely sales volume historiesbr- Report retail-customer feature activity on a timely basisbr- Promptly address and resolve financial administrative issuesbr- Initiate and participate in the preparation and presentation of Affinity client and customer-partner business reviewsbr- Visit retail-customer partner store locations to be knowledgeable about key retailer merchandising initiatives and the competitive landscapebrbrbRequirements:/bbrbr- Experience in the retail or food service areas is advantageousbr- Grocery store department operations, office, or sales experience preferredbr- Bachelor's degree beneficialbrbrbSkills and Abilities:/bbrbr- Solid competency with MS Windows software suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)br- Solid understanding of syndicated sales data platforms (IRI and Nielsen) and category management principlesbr- Effective verbal and written communication skillsbr- Effective collaborator and contributor functioning in a team environmentbr- Self-motivating, high-energy, high-capacity, and results-orientedbr- Attention to detail, accuracy, and timelinesbr- Professional appearance, winning attitude, and comfortable operating in a dynamic client service – customer activation environmentbrbrbWorking Conditions:/bbrbr- Reliable transportation for visits to stores, customers, clients, and other locationsbr- Move boxes weighing up to 40lbsbrbrbAbout Affinity Group:/bbrbrThe Affinity Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
