Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Prime Hospitality Group, LLC. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for managing and supervising all kitchen-related activities, ensuring the highest quality preparation and presentation of menu items.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Preparation and Execution: Demonstrate the ability to follow recipes, preparing and executing all food ordered to the restaurant specifications and quality standards.
  • Team Management: Maintain high employee morale, creating a fun and safe environment while ensuring that all employees execute at high performance levels.
  • Inventory Management: Perform purchasing function as necessary and communicate purchasing needs to the Executive Chef, ensuring the availability of all necessary food and kitchen-related items to meet demands of staff and guests.
  • Quality Control: Maintain safe sanitation practices and ensure Team Members adhere to all federal, state, and local requirements, scoring better than 90% on all local health inspections, ServSafe Certifications, and Steritech inspections.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Experience: Prior restaurant BOH food preparation experience.
  • Skills: Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment effectively and efficiently, must be able to work a flexible schedule and expect to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications: SERV Safe Certified.

Authorized to work in the United States of America.
