About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Account Executive to join our General Merchandise team at Ibotta. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our presence in the general merchandise market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet and exceed annual revenue targets through the development and closure of partnerships and execution of new business initiatives
  • Lead the sales cycle from opportunity identification to contract negotiation, working closely with clients, prospects, and internal teams
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations that educate prospective clients on Ibotta's value proposition, roadmap, and partnership opportunities
  • Execute and deliver on initiatives that provide business impact beyond individual accounts
  • Travel up to 40% of the time
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of experience in a data-driven sales role
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Proven success breaking into and expanding enterprise accounts
  • Experience selling digital, mobile, or media advertising solutions into verticals such as CPG, General Merchandise, or retail
  • Proven ability to sell into high-level leadership and navigate potential customer organizations to connect with the business owner/decision maker
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Expert negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to close the deal
  • Flexibility, accountability, and resourcefulness to work with little direction in a fast-paced startup environment

Total hiring compensation range: $125,000-$165,000. Equity is granted in addition to the overall compensation package. This range is inclusive of a base range and a variable bonus.
