Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to achieve overall sales targets for your assigned territory and establish individual sales goals for key accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, specifically within the food manufacturing sector, in Northern California.
- Develop and nurture long-term partnerships with major accounts to solidify the company's presence in the market.
- Focus on growing key accounts through a consultative sales approach, providing high-touch service.
- Attend industry trade shows and events to network and promote products.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, trusting relationships with target accounts to prevent turnover to competitors.
- Work closely with the Inside Sales Manager and support team to ensure customers are well-served throughout California.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as chemistry, biology, environmental science, or food science.
- 4-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish trust with key stakeholders.
- A hungry, results-driven individual eager to grow long-term within the company.
