As a Desktop Support Technician at Cynet Systems, you will be responsible for providing Level 2 technical support for desktop, laptop, and tablet computers. Your expertise will be utilized to troubleshoot hardware and software issues, configure and deliver new computers and peripherals, and provide detailed documentation of incidents and service requests.
Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on desktop, laptop, and tablet computers
• Configure and deliver new computers and peripherals for new hires
• Provide detailed documentation of incidents and service requests
• Use remote control tools to assist off-site users
• Prioritize workload based on service level agreements
• Act as a technical resource to others to resolve problems or issues
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• 3+ years of experience as a Desktop Support Technician
• 3+ years of experience with PC operating systems
• 3+ years of experience in a customer service role
• 3+ years of Technology Support experience
• 3+ years of experience with MS Office (including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Must have reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50 pounds with assistance
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree or higher level of education
• CompTIA A+ Certification
• Experience with Networking Principles, Internet Protocol Suite (TCP/IP), Local Area Networks (LAN), and Wide Area Networks (WAN)
