We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team at GM Financial. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to assess its completeness and the effectiveness of cybersecurity measures.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the development, refinement, and maintenance of cybersecurity metrics and reports
- Collect data from various sources; leverage existing tools and technologies to combine data sets and identify patterns/trends
- Develop and generate reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate cybersecurity metrics and insights to stakeholders, including senior leadership and technical teams
- Assist with implementing automation and scripting techniques to streamline data collection, analysis, and reporting processes
- Initiate, facilitate, and promote Cybersecurity within the organization and monitor adherence to Cybersecurity policies, standards, and controls
- Must have a high-level understanding of financial services industry, security, risk, and privacy
- Must have current knowledge and stay up-to-date on the latest Cybersecurity legislation, regulations, advisories, alerts, and vulnerabilities
- Must have knowledge of Information Security and Cybersecurity frameworks
- Advanced knowledge of data visualization, scripting, and automation tools such as SQL, Python, and PowerBI Desktop and Services
