Facilities Technician III Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Facilities Technician III to join our team at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows. As a key member of our facilities team, you'll be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our mechanical systems, ensuring the comfort and safety of our guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, including boilers, chillers, and fire protection systems.
  • Review and prioritize work orders to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Install, inspect, and repair kitchen equipment, including refrigerators and HVAC systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance on mechanical devices, motors, and pumps, and perform painting, carpentry, and upholstery work as needed.
  • Assist with snow removal and respond to maintenance calls in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in all company matters.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and minimum four (4) years of facilities maintenance experience in hospitality or related field required.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency and literacy in English.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Thorough knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and electronic systems, mechanics, carpentry, painting, HVAC, welding, refrigeration, boilers, and chillers.
  • Ability to use all equipment associated with the position, including basic hand and power tools, lathe, arc welder, electronic testing equipment, power sprayers, and power saws.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
