Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Maintenance: Install, test, maintain, and repair air distribution and pneumatic tube systems, including supply and return, exhaust fans, and system components such as direct digital and pneumatic controls, firmware, software, and their related end devices.
  • Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Troubleshoot and diagnose engineering plant complications and systems malfunctions, develop and implement solutions/corrections, and maintain and inventory equipment, tools, supplies, mechanical room operating logs, and data trends for optimal and efficient performance.
  • Scheduled Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and casualty prevention work orders, recommend improvements and modifications as appropriate, and maintain accurate records/logs as required.
  • Estimating and Scheduling: Develop estimates for a wide variety of repairs to installed equipment in accordance with requirements, determine the means and methods to be used, estimate time, material(s), and human resources needed, and secure the appropriate tools/equipment and materials.
  • Energy Conservation: Program air distribution, lighting, and Peak Demand Limiting (PDL) to optimize energy conservation and maintain an appropriate environment throughout our facilities.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience: 1-2 years as a Maintenance Mechanic demonstrating the ability to perform this position and the knowledge of computer operations and programming of mechanical systems.
  • Skills: 5-7 years' operating and maintaining HVAC and microprocessor-based pneumatic tube systems.
Compensation:

This position has a hiring range of $33.21.
