About the Role:

ITAC is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead our industrial electrical projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of electrical work on our clients' sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Safety: Ensure all aspects of client and project safety requirements are met and enforced throughout the jobsite.
  • Workplace Safety: Establish and maintain a safe workplace, ensuring all necessary protocols are in place.
  • Resource Management: Ensure efficient usage of manpower, material, and equipment.
  • Subcontractor Management: Coordinate the day-to-day activities of direct-hire and subcontracted labor, ensuring they are working to the current project schedule and executing their work productively.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all standards are met or exceeded, and coordinate the completion of any punch list items.
  • Documentation: Document daily Procore progress reports, including photographs, file meeting minutes from all job site meetings, and highlight information that may affect project cost, schedule, or quality.
  • Cost and Schedule Management: Anticipate and avoid potential cost and schedule impacts.
  • Project Scope and Requirements: Develop an understanding of the project scope and requirements, working with the Project and/or Construction Manager to develop detailed schedule control reporting documentation.
  • Close-out and Turnover: Develop a close-out and turnover plan, along with the Project Manager.
  • Project Execution: Develop a detailed project execution plan.
  • Proposal Preparation: Assist in the preparation of proposals and participate in presentations to potential clients.
  • Electrical Installation: Install electrical distribution equipment, including switchgear, panels, transformers, disconnects, and terminate single and three-phase equipment and devices.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively through both written and verbal means.

Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent experience.

Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience as an Electrical Superintendent, 7 years preferred. As a Foreman or Superintendent, overall experience 12 years minimum.

Benefits: Starting pay at $38/hour.
