NielsenIQ is a global leader in market research, providing alternative data products to buy-side financial institutions. Our Financial Services team is focused on driving growth and innovation through sales and business development.
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Development Manager to join our team, responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing a pipeline of new business, and contributing to new product development.
Main Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and execute sales strategies to secure new accounts and grow revenue.
- Pipeline Management: Manage a pipeline of new business from initial conversation to close of sale.
- Market Intelligence and Product Development: Gather market intelligence and contribute to new product development to meet changing client needs.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience selling data-driven research / products / services to the investment community, preferably buy-side.
- Experience selling to PE or VC funds is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Finance, Economics, or Marketing.
- Strong understanding of financial markets and technology; knowledge of investment research products and current software technologies is a plus.
- Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
Compensation Package: $160,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience, including benefits and bonuses.
