We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager of Business Development Partnerships to join our team at Genesys Works.

Job Description

As a Senior Manager of Business Development Partnerships, you will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with our corporate partners to secure internships and career opportunities for our students. You will work closely with our leadership team to develop and implement strategies to drive growth and expand our partnerships.

Your primary focus will be on meeting established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including annual goals, maintaining a 90% annual renewal rate of internships with corporate partners, achieving 10% year-over-year growth in internships with existing corporate partnerships, and securing commitments from corporate partners within the necessary timeline for summer training execution.

You will also be responsible for managing relationships with corporate partners to ensure successful internship experiences and ongoing engagement with key stakeholders. This includes tracking interactions with companies using Salesforce or other management tools, collaborating with External Affairs to identify marketing and celebration opportunities for stewardship and relationship-building efforts, and ensuring accurate reporting for tracking commitments and opportunities for internal and external stakeholders.

In addition, you will work closely with our Program Director and External Affairs to develop strategies for corporate partner engagement and internship acquisition, implement strategies for increasing the number of internships within each partner, shortening the sales cycle, and increasing closure rates, and formulate team activities into reportable KPIs, including corporate partner analytics and prospect management records.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent oral and written communication skills, prior experience delivering presentations to executive audiences, and proficiency with computers, databases, and Microsoft Office applications, preferably with Salesforce experience.
