Overview:
We are in search of a dedicated Transportation Analyst who excels in a vibrant and rapidly evolving environment. This individual will play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain and transportation strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and support daily transportation operations, serving as the main liaison between transportation, carriers, and various partners.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external customer requirements while supporting service targets and cost-saving initiatives.
- Conduct comprehensive transportation analyses to meet departmental needs on significant projects.
Essential Duties:
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of all transportation data sources, including transportation management systems and freight payment systems.
- Generate and maintain monthly reports for senior management focusing on outbound cost analysis.
- Utilize various data sources to extract and analyze data, creating insightful reports and dashboards with business intelligence tools and Microsoft Office applications.
- Establish performance KPIs for both ELC-controlled carriers and retailer carriers.
- Collaborate with carrier contacts to enhance KPI monitoring, presenting findings to the Transportation team on a quarterly basis.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses and reporting for outbound freight as necessary.
- Engage in transportation-related projects as required.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, or Industrial Engineering.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Power BI is essential.
- Knowledge of SAP and transportation management systems is preferred.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, effectively communicate ideas, and influence others to achieve objectives.
