Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Radiologic Technology Instructor to join our team at South Suburban College. As an Adjunct Faculty member, you will play a critical role in teaching courses in the Radiologic Technology program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement instructional strategies to teach Radiologic Technology courses.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide feedback to ensure academic success.
  • Develop and maintain course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments.
  • Maintain accurate student records and documentation.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Radiologic Technology.
  • Current ARRT Certification in Radiology Technology.
  • Current IEMA IL Radiology or Indiana Radiology unencumber license.
  • Academic and/or professional credentials in the subject content area taught.
  • Pass a criminal background check.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology accreditation standards.
  • At least three years of teaching experience on a college level, preferably in an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
