Position Overview

This role is under the supervision of the Educational Technology & Client Support Supervisor, focusing on the technological requirements for instructional spaces within the Education Zone. The primary responsibility is to provide immediate assistance for all instructional and simulation environments across multiple facilities.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of classroom and instructional technologies, including expertise in computer connectivity, audio/video systems, digital sound processing, matrix routing, networking, systems administration, and integration of simulation systems. Experience with Crestron coding and devices or similar technologies is also essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver technical support for projection systems, computers, operating systems, audio systems, and related equipment.
  • Demonstrate moderate technical expertise or a willingness to learn about Crestron control systems.
  • Handle video and audio routing, along with hardware encoders for video and audio.
  • Communicate technical issues clearly to various stakeholders, including administrators, faculty, and novice users.
  • Provide troubleshooting support for both PC and Apple computers, ensuring compatibility with diverse audio-visual equipment.
