As an Educational Support Specialist, you will be stationed at a local educational institution, working closely within a K-3 classroom environment. Collaborating with the classroom instructor, you will enhance student engagement and assist in developing reading proficiency. Your Responsibilities:

Our organization transforms everyday individuals into exceptional Educational Support Specialists. Anyone with a genuine desire to make a difference can become an Educational Support Specialist, provided they meet the following essential qualifications:
- Reliable with a proven record of good attendance.
- Able to comprehend and adhere to instructions.
- Open to constructive feedback and willing to improve.
- Capable of maintaining a consistent pace and schedule with students.
- Proficient in basic computer skills (such as email and online navigation).
- Fluent in English for effective communication, reading, and writing.
- At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States.
- Able to successfully pass a background check.
Compensation & Benefits:
While you contribute to positive change, you will receive a bi-weekly stipend along with additional benefits. As part of our program, you will enjoy both federally provided benefits and program-specific perks.
Federal Benefits Include:
- Up to $ in Education Award
- Segal AmeriCorps Education Award*, applicable for tuition or qualified student loan repayment. Individuals aged 55+ at the start of their service term may transfer their award to a family member.
- Federal student loan forbearance and interest repayment.
- Accrual of time towards the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program.
Program-Specific Benefits Based on Weekly Commitment:
- 35 Hours:
$1150 stipend paid bi-weekly.
Individual health insurance — monthly premium fully covered.
Child care assistance — based on family size and income. - 25 Hours:
$785 stipend paid bi-weekly.
