Position: Special Education Support Specialist

ProCare Therapy is collaborating with a local educational institution to recruit dedicated Special Education Support Specialists for the upcoming academic year. Below are the key details:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and document student progress as instructed by the Behavior Supervisor or Special Education Instructor.
  • Exhibit patience, adaptability, and professionalism in interactions with students, supervisors, and peers.
  • Demonstrate consistent attendance and dependability.
  • Assist educational specialists in promoting school readiness, foundational skills, and social engagement.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience addressing behavioral needs within an educational environment.
  • Experience as a Behavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician is preferred.
