Job Overview

Position Summary: Oversees security operations to guarantee the safety and protection of guests and staff within the gaming and entertainment environment, while also ensuring the safeguarding of company assets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivers exceptional service to both internal and external guests, embodying the #AddLife culture in all interactions.
  • Creates a supportive and motivating atmosphere for team members.
  • Participates actively in daily briefings and meetings, ensuring punctuality and a positive contribution.
  • Maintains operational efficiency by adhering to established policies and procedures, including responsible gaming and internal control protocols.
  • Drafts reports clearly and concisely, focusing solely on factual information without personal opinions.
  • Responds to non-routine incidents with appropriate actions and notifications.
  • Conducts currency transports in compliance with gaming regulations.
  • Upholds a professional appearance at all times.
  • Communicates effectively with fellow security personnel using established codes.
  • Addresses customer complaints swiftly, fairly, and consistently.
  • Protects company property and assets.
  • Responds to First Aid situations and administers CPR when necessary.
  • Complies with all aspects of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Program, including Suspicious Activity Reporting and Customer Identification requirements.
  • Ensures adherence to gambling, banking, count room, and cash handling protocols.
  • Handles confidential information, reports, incidents, and materials with discretion.
  • Facilitates communication within the department to ensure information is shared effectively.
  • Informs senior management of relevant operational information.
  • Addresses problems within the scope of authority and recommends solutions for issues beyond that scope to the supervisor.
  • Keeps the supervisor updated on significant activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Regulatory and Compliance Responsibilities:

In addition to the duties outlined above, each team member has specific responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations:

  • Attend mandatory training sessions provided by the company.
  • Obtain and maintain necessary licenses.
  • Perform duties in accordance with local laws and regulations.
  • Ensure minors are not permitted to gamble, loiter in gaming areas, consume alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
  • Possess knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relevant to the department.
  • Be aware of the property’s programs addressing problem gaming.
  • Report any known acts of misconduct.

Position Qualifications:

A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Formal training in security or law enforcement is essential; relevant on-the-job experience may be considered in lieu of formal training. Other combinations of education and experience may also be evaluated. Candidates must be able to articulate and convey ideas effectively.

Ability to work in an environment with exposure to secondhand smoke, moderate to loud noise levels, and varied lighting conditions, including flashing lights.
