This recruitment is for an Administrative Assistant III role at American Family Care Anaheim. The position requires a high level of initiative, confidentiality, and independence, along with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities while maintaining composure under pressure.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate independent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, alongside strong verbal and written communication abilities. A solid understanding of the office environment and technology is essential, along with a commitment to completing tasks and projects effectively.

Compensation Range:


$24/hour (within a full range of $22 - $29/hour).

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred) with 2-5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a similar setting.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector, including medical offices, urgent care, hospitals, or other health-related facilities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of administrative support needs and the ability to provide executive-level assistance in a dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with medical billing processes, insurance payors, follow-up procedures, and provider relations.
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to creatively resolve complex issues.
  • Experience in HR functions, including payroll processing and compliance monitoring.
  • Knowledge of accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
  • Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Capacity to manage changing priorities and multiple demands.
  • Proficient understanding of computer systems with some light IT responsibilities.

This is a permanent employment opportunity with American Family Care Anaheim. The interview and hiring process will align with internal hiring needs and the candidate's experience relevant to the position. Some temporary roles may require health physical clearance or a valid driver's license with a clean record.

Most permanent positions operate Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional part-time, weekend, and evening hours as needed based on the role. Comprehensive benefits options are available for full-time employees, including paid vacation, sick leave, health/dental/vision insurance, and a 401K plan.
